Police detain 50 suspected Daesh terrorists in Istanbul
Police carried out raids against Daesh terrorists across Turkey’s Istanbul, and 50 suspects were taken into custody.

Police carried out raids against Daesh terrorists across Turkey’s Istanbul, and 50 suspects were taken into custody.
Counterterrorism teams raided 14 addresses across 10 districts, including Maltepe, Silivri, Fatih, Başakşehir, Küçükçekmece, Zeytinburnu, Bayrampaşa, Pendik, Güngören and Beylikdüzü.
All of the captured 50 terrorists were foreign nationals and had links to conflicts in Syria and Iraq. Numerous digital materials and documents were seized during the raids.
The terrorists were taken to the Counterterrorism Branch.
Over 319 people have lost their lives in Daesh attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bomb, rocket and gun attacks.
