Azerbaijani foreign minister said they supported the attempts to normalize the ties between Turkey and Armenia.
Ceyhun Bayramov made his statements during a year-end evaluation regarding Baku's foreign policy.
"We fully support the normalization of brotherly Turkey's relations with Armenia," he said.
Bayramov underscored they, as Baku, are in favor of the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations on the basis of the principles of international law.
"We even declared that we are ready to work on a peace agreement," said Bayramov. "We believe that this can form the basis for the normalization of relations between the countries of the region at a wider level."
Baku is pursuing a transparent, international law-based and independent foreign policy, added the Azerbaijani FM.
